Abstract

The Thirukachur Kachabeswarar temple, located in Thirukachur village near Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India, is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Kachabeswarar. Daily rituals such as Nitya Puja and Archanas, along with Abhishekam, Alankaram, Aarti, Homam, and special pujas, form the core of worship practices, emphasizing devotion and offerings. The temple also hosts a series of festivals including Maha Shivaratri, Panguni Uthiram, Aadi Pooram, Navaratri, and Pradosham, each marked by elaborate ceremonies to honor deities and commemorate auspicious occasions.
