Abstract

This article focuses on systematizing the theoretical basis of the scientific research capacity of university students (including: The capacity to register research topics; the  capacity to conduct research activities; the capacity to publish scientific research results after acceptance). The authors conducted a survey to assess the current status of scientific research capacity of students at Vinh Long University of Technology Education according to the above competencies. The results of this survey show that the current level of meeting the requirements of scientific research capacity of students at Vinh Long University of Technology Education is not satisfactory, compared with  the current research capabilities scientific research provided by the theoretical basis. On that basis, the article conducts research and proposes some basic solutions affecting the objects of management staff at the University and Faculty levels at universities. The solution has a strong impact on the  university lecturers. This is a decisive force for students' scientific research activities. The solutions directly affect the students, this is the subject who directly performs the task of scientific research. The solutions will create a favorable environment so that students can do scientific research more effectively. The proposed solutions all focus on the goals of improving and enhancing the scientific research capacity of students at Vinh Long University of  Technology Education.
