Abstract

The study aimed to know the role of the media literacy course in achieving the dimensions of digital citizenship from the point of view of Jordanian university students. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (5) domains was prepared, namely: (digital rights and responsibilities, digital security and safety, digital exchange of information, digital laws, digital ethics) as it consisted of (25), the validity and reliability of the study tool was verified, the study concluded The role of the media literacy course in achieving the dimensions of digital citizenship from the point of view of Jordanian university students has come to a large extent. In the last place, digital security and safety, the study concluded that there were no statistically significant differences in the sample response about the role of the media literacy course in achieving the dimensions of digital citizenship due to the variables of gender, college, and academic year.
