Trauma Due To Risky Driving Behaviors Among Health Workers
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
Results: Risky driving significantly affects general, physical, and mental health. Psychological distress and stress are most common among professional drivers. Parameters such as shift working, work-related stress, and particularly personality characteristics can create stress and increase risky driving. In the case of work-related traumatic events, significant post-traumatic syndrome is found among healthcare workers. Their coping pattern is mainly emotion-focused. The way that management leaders respond is crucial for workers' mental health right after the incident and in the long-term period.
