Abstract

The present paper would discuss about the administrative apparatus of Varman Dynasty of Chamba during the early medieval period. The paper would seeks to understand the various positions held by the various officials gleaned from the copper-plate inscriptions. The paper would also analyze the nature of position of the officials in the state.
