Abstract

Regulators have made great progress in dispelling the myth that their regulations are onerous throughout the past ten years. The regulation of health and care workers has been the subject of extensive international study activity. One of the main objectives of health systems around the world is the provision of high-quality medical and social care services. The challenge of determining the drivers of quality is intricate due to the abundance of factors available.

Researchers in this subject have evaluated the relationship between a variety of quality indicators and a range of organizational and environmental characteristics (e.g., staff makeup, facility ownership, and facility size). Factors influencing adherence to quality regulations have received less focus. The identification of compliance determinants holds promise for enhancing regulatory procedures and providing valuable insights for quality improvement endeavors done by policy makers and service providers.
