Abstract

This research explores the Intersection of mental health challenges and social work interventions, examining the pivotal role of social workers In addressing prevalent mental health issues. The paper provides an overview of various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and substance abuse, highlighting the complex and multifaceted nature of these conditions. Drawing upon theoretical frameworks such as ecological systems theory and the strengths-based approach, the study explores the theoretical underpinnings that inform social work interventions in mental health. Additionally, the research delves into the importance of accurate assessment and diagnosis in social work practice, emphasizing its implications for tailored intervention plans and effective treatment strategies.
