Abstract
This research article uses a study of a subset of NGOs in Rajasthan, India, to examine how women's education and technological literacy interact with one another. In light of the fact that women's empowerment and socio-economic development can be greatly enhanced through education and technical proficiency, this study seeks to examine the educational attainment and technological literacy of women in Rajasthan, a state characterised by complex social and cultural dynamics and developmental obstacles. This study uses a mixed-methods strategy that includes questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to learn about the educational experiences and levels of technology knowledge of women who work for specific non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Perceived hurdles and facilitators influencing women's participation with educational and technical possibilities are also examined, along with the tactics and programmes used by NGOs to improve women's education and technological literacy.
This study adds to the conversation around digital inclusion, gender empowerment, and women's education in Rajasthan by illuminating the connection between the two. In order to empower women and improve their socio-economic well-being in the area, the results provide light on the current limitations and opportunities in women's access to education and technology. This, in turn, informs the development and implementation of effective interventions and policies.
