Abstract

Language is a process of cognitive development, and most students wish to enhance their language skills to upgrade their profile for better jobs. This research focuses on well-being and learning opportunities among rural students in the Pollachi area. Speaking English is a challenging task for most students because of their social background. To eliminate their fears and barriers to language learning, this research develops the module based on a student-centred approach. Experimental study methods were adopted to understand the effectiveness of modules in language learning. The study gives special attention to first-generation learners and recommends steps to be taken in the higher education platform. The study collaborated and examined the different modules to create effective language classrooms at the college level.
