Abstract

This paper explores the significance of empowering medical nurses in optimizing patient care. Empowerment, encompassing autonomy, leadership styles, and structural support, is fundamental to enhancing nurses' effectiveness and job satisfaction, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes. Through a comprehensive review of literature, this study examines the impact of empowerment on nurses' performance, engagement, and organizational commitment. Key findings suggest that empowering strategies such as autonomy support, transformational leadership, and structural empowerment contribute to greater job satisfaction, reduced burnout, and enhanced patient satisfaction. Moreover, the relationship between empowerment and nursing performance underscores the importance of creating supportive work environments that foster nurses' autonomy, decision-making abilities, and professional growth.
