Abstract
This article examines the changing security landscape in India and Central Asia following the resurgence of the Taliban, stressing the imperative for enhanced cooperation between the two regions to address the shared security threat. It specifically highlights the significance of India- Tajikistan security collaboration due to the latter’s proximity to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Moreover, the article underscores the need to counter the interlinked challenges of drug trafficking and terrorism, while also acknowledging the importance of addressing non-traditional security concerns. By fostering a strong partnership and joint approach, India and the Central Asian Republicans can effectively mitigate the emerging security risks and promote regional stability.
