Abstract

This research study aims to evaluate the impact of government policies on youth empowerment and participation in Aizawl City, using a comparative approach. Convenience sampling was used to select participants, and a sample size of 100 participants, aged 18-25 years, was included in the study. The data collected revealed that most participants are aware of government policies specific to youth empowerment, and a significant percentage have participated in government-sponsored programs. The study also identified the most significant government policies, challenges hindering youth empowerment, and suggestions for improvement. The findings highlight the need for increased awareness, resource allocation, and opportunities for skill development and entrepreneurship. The study concludes with recommendations for addressing these challenges and fostering youth empowerment and participation in Aizawl City.
