Abstract

Simply put, India's GDP would collapse without the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. It's a major factor in household budgets everywhere. Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) are characterized by lower levels of penetration, lower operational expenses, and lower per capita consumption. The fast-moving consumer goods sector in India is currently hiring. It is currently expanding at a rate in the double digits, and this trend of high growth is expected to persist. This research looks at the preferences and purchasing patterns of young people in the Chennai region of Tamil Nadu with regards to FMCG.
