Abstract
The creation, use, and sustainability of construction materials are currently going through a revolutionary period in the field of civil engineering, driven by cutting-edge chemical techniques. The performance, durability, and environmental impact of materials used in various civil engineering applications are being improved because to these chemical advancements. The critical role that chemically novel materials play in tackling the myriad problems that the construction industry faces is examined in this review study. This study analyzes significant instances of chemically advanced materials that are transforming the construction landscape, such as geopolymer concrete, self-healing materials, and nanoengineered solutions.
