Academic Boredom Among University Students

Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the level of academic boredom among university students, determine the current research community of Wasit University students for morning studies for the academic year 2022-2023. The research sample size was (400) male and female students for the academic year 2022-2023, the researcher constructed a measure of academic boredom among university students, as the number of its paragraphs reached (33) paragraphs in its initial form, distributed over (4) areas, they are (teaching methods, content of study materials, evaluation methods, low motivational arousal), the psychometric characteristics of honesty and reliability were extracted. The research sample was relied upon (400), and the data were analyzed statistically using the Statistical Bag for Social Sciences (spss). The results showed that university students have academic boredom, by the results, the researcher developed a set of recommendations, conclusions and proposals.
