Anti Money Politics Village: A Model of Community Involvement in Money Politics Prevention

Abstract
Overcoming the practice of money politics as part of election monitoring efforts cannot be just the job of the election supervisory agencies and law enforcement officials, without the participation of citizens. The public needs to be encouraged to participate in tackling the practice of money politics by refusing the money from candidates or reporting indications of money politics to the authorities. For this reason, research on the development of community participation models is carried out to prevent money politics from occurring. This study aims to develop a model of public participation in election supervision, especially for dealing with money politics. The model referred to in the form of an Anti-Money Politics Village. The research was conducted in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java Province.
