Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of strategic planning in the development of Sudanese exports, for the Gum Arabic Company. And to identify the clarity of the concept of strategic planning and its practical practice in the Gum Arabic Company. The problem was represented in the following main question: Are there obstacles facing the strategic planning process in the Gum Arabic Company and the Sudanese export development process? The study tested the following hypotheses: There is a statistically significant relationship between strategic planning and the development of Sudanese exports, and is there a statistically significant relationship between strategic planning and the requirements of international markets. According to a descriptive analytical approach, a questionnaire was designed to collect data from the study population of (120) employees, at a rate of (100%) of the total distributed questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the (Spss) program, as a number of statistical methods were used to verify the validity of the hypothesis. The study came out with the most important results: There is a fluctuation in the value of non-oil exports during the study period, which is attributed to the fluctuation of international prices in addition to the existing economic policies. The study concluded with the following: Removing the barriers that hinder the export process in all its administrative and legal aspects.
